The Alliance for Pioneer Square has partnered with Upstream Music Fest + Summit to ensure that the first year of the Fest is a success for the Pioneer Square neighborhood.
Upstream Fest will transform the historic Pioneer Square neighborhood into a walkable mixtape May 11-13. Highlights will include a main stage at CenturyLink Field’s North Lot, a free public stage in Occidental Park presented by KEXP, and over 25 intimate stages throughout the neighborhood. Over 300 emerging artists from around the region will be showcased alongside national and international music headliners.
At the Upstream Summit, emerging artists, industry experts and creative collaborators from the Northwest and beyond will gather at WaMu Theater to dive into how to succeed in the changing music economy. Keynote speakers include Macklemore, Quincy Jones, and Portia Sabin.
