Pioneer Square is the newest certified Creative District in the state thanks to those who nurture our creative community, people like Judith Rinehart of J. Rinehart Gallery and Dominic Nieri of Urban Villages, who led the certification effort as co-chairs of the steering committee. “What I love about Pioneer Square is that it feels like a small town inside a big city,” said Nieri. “That’s the heart of this creative district: it’s a community first, and everything beautiful here grows out of that.”
