BROADWAY SEGMENT – CONSTRUCTION DETAIL

Trackway Construction Between Pine and Pike

Weekday Work:

  • Howell to Pine
    • o Traffic signal foundations and electrical work
  • Pine to Pike
    • o Construction of trackway

• Pike to Madison

  • o Trackway survey and saw cutting
  • Marion to Columbia
    • o Storm drain installation

• James to Jefferson

  • o Connect water services
  • Minor intersection
    • o Electrical duct bank installation

Weekend Work:

  • There will be no work over Labor Day weekend

Work Hours:

  • Weekdays -7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

 

14TH/YESLER SEGMENT – CONSTRUCTION DETAIL

 

Expect Additional Traffic Delays This Week on Yesler 

Weekday Work:

  • Broadway  –  Spruce to Yesler
    • o Storm drain and sewer installation
  • Yesler – Broadway to 10th
    • o Sewer installation
  • Yesler – 12thto 14th
    • o Trackway construction
  • 14th– Yesler to Washington
    • o Sidewalk reconstruction
    • o Traffic signal pole installation
  • Main – 14th to Boren
    • o Construct foundation for electrical substation

Weekend Work:

There will be no work over Labor Day weekend

Work Hours:

  • Weekdays – 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
  • Traffic Advisory:
  • Northbound 14th between Main and Yesler will reopen to traffic on Friday, August 31st

JACKSON SEGMENT – CONSTRUCTION DETAIL

Water Main, Storm Drain, and Electrical Duct Bank Installation

Weekday Work:

  • Electrical duct bank installation between

1st and 2nd   

  • Storm drain installation between 7th and 8th

Weekend Work:

There will be no work over Labor Day weekend

Work Hours:

  • Weekdays – 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Note Regarding Water Main Installation:

Beginning in late September there will be water service interruptions as new connections are made along Jackson. If your building will be affected you will receive notice of a water shutdown directly from Seattle Public Utilities at least 72 hours

in advance.
