Monthly Staff Feature: Angela Nguyen, Marketing and Communications Manager

This month, we catch up with Angela Nguyen, Marketing and Communications Manager for the Alliance for Pioneer Square. Angela supports the Alliance’s marketing campaigns and initiatives across all channels, including digital advertising, social media, events, and more. In her role, she helps tell the unique and vibrant story of Pioneer Square, its businesses, and the people who make up the neighborhood.

Angela talks to us about her first few weeks with the Alliance, her experience in the neighborhood so far, and what she’s excited about in the coming months.

Sara tackles projects that improves the streets, parks, and public spaces. She diligently works to enhance the streetscape, coordinate construction, and manage parking, along with anything else that is needed. Her efforts make the neighborhood a safer and cleaner place for everyone to enjoy and for businesses to thrive. She enjoys connecting with the community and building relationships. Recently, Sara shared her perspectives on public realm management during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Meet Liz:

Pioneer Square has an unprecedented number of projects impacting the public realm: reclaiming alleys, redesigning streets and parks, fixing curbs and medians, waterfront, parking, and bike lanes. All this and more are all-in-a-day’s work for Liz Stenning, our Deputy Director. A friendly and familiar face in the neighborhood, Liz is all about ongoing improvements to our public realm from curb cuts to crosswalks.
