Springtime flower baskets, an annual neighborhood tradition, were hung in outdoor spaces today in Pioneer Square. The hanging plants bring color and life into the neighborhood, accenting the brick facade architecture of the district for a picturesque effect.
This year 80 flower baskets were purchased by the Pioneer Square Business Improvement Area, which is managed by the Alliance for Pioneer Square and implements marketing and promotions for the neighborhood throughout the year.
The flower baskets are provided by Marshall Walton Design Group and are maintained daily. They will be up through mid-October.
