 BROADWAY SEGMENT – CONSTRUCTION DETAIL

Night and Weekend Intersection Closures at Broadway and Madison,

Weekday Work: 

7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

• Denny to Howell
  • o Street restoration
• Howell and Nagle
  • o Electrical duct bank installation
• Pine to Pike
  • o Street restoration
• Pike to Madison
  • o Trackway construction

• Columbia intersection

• o Steam vault modifications
• Cherry and James intersections
  • o Traffic signal controls installation
• Cherry to Jefferson
  • o Saw cutting

Weeknight Work:

7:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.

• Pike intersection
  • o Track construction
• Madison to Marion
  • o Storm drain installation

Weekend Work:

• Madison intersection
  • o Water main work

Traffic Advisory:

• The intersection of Broadway/ Madison will be closed on weekends until November 4^th

(7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.)

• Broadway will be closed weeknights between Madison and Marion until October 15^th with a signed detour (8:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.)
• On the weekend of October 12^th – 15^th Pike Street will be closed to through traffic at Broadway (Friday 7:00 p.m. –Monday 5:00 a.m.)

 

14^TH/YESLER SEGMENT – CONSTRUCTION DETAIL

Water Main & Sewer Installations, Street Restoration

Weekday Work:

• Yesler – Broadway to Boren
  • o Water main installation
• Yesler at 12^th
  • o Sewer installation
• Yesler at 14^th

• Jackson – 8^th to 10^th
  • o Water main installation

Work Hours:

• Weekdays – 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

 

JACKSON SEGMENT – CONSTRUCTION DETAIL

Water Main & Electrical Duct Bank Installations

Weekday Work:

• Electrical duct bank installation between 1^st and 2^nd   
• Water main installation between

6^th and 7^th

Work Hours:

• Weekdays 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Note on Water Main Shutoffs:

Last weekend the first of three October water shutoffs in the Chinatown/

International District was completed. The remaining shutoffs will begin at 10:00 p.m. on Saturdays and continue until 10:00 a.m. on Sundays. If your building will be affected you will receive a notice directly from Seattle Public Utilities at least 72 hours in advance.
