Embassy Suites Hotel at Stadium Place

Stadium Place developers have recently announced the addition of Embassy Suites Hotel to the former North Lot site. Watch the video above for lovely views and conceptual designs of the new hotel coming to Pioneer Square.

The hotel is currently under construction in the former “North Lot” parking lot of Century Link Field Stadium. At 23 stories high with 297 rooms, the hotel rounds out a truly mixed-use neighborhood project that includes office space, apartment living, and restaurants. Visitors to Stadium Place can enjoy all these amenities and more, as its Pioneer Square location lends the advantage of being in Seattle’s transit hub: Ease of access to ferry, bus tunnel, and trains.

Weekly Transportation Construction Coordination Update – February 7, 2013

Highlights:

Beginning Feb 9, the Yesler Way and Broadway intersection will be closed for 21 days.
Feb 12 to Feb 28, 1st Ave will have full time lane restrictions between Union St and Stewart St. Only one block is affected at a time. One lane southbound and two northbound will remain open.
Feb 15 – 19, Spokane St Viaduct will be closed eastbound at 4th Ave S off ramp. The on ramps to I-5 and S Columbian Way will also be closed at Spokane St and 6th Ave S. Detour via 6th Ave S and 4th Ave S to S Atlantic St.

Update to the Neighborhood – February 2013

January has been an amazingly busy month! Alliance staff is busy recruiting new businesses, planning events and advertising, and building infrastructure to better serve the neighborhood. With this flurry of activity we are excited to welcome Melany Brown, our new Director of Operations; a great addition to our fabulous team. Please see Karen True’s article about everyone else we are welcoming to the neighborhood; what an exciting time!
