Weekend Closure to Through Traffic on Pine and Union at Broadway
Weekday Work:
- Howell – Broadway to Nagel
- o Electrical duct bank installation
- o Sidewalk and pedestrian ramp construction
- Howell to Madison
- o Saw cutting and construction of trackway
- o Traffic signal foundations
• Madison to Columbia
- o Storm drain installation
- Minor intersection
- o Construct foundation for electrical substation
Weekend Work:

Traffic Advisory:
- On the weekend of September 15th and 16th Pine and Union will be closed to through traffic at Broadway. However, right turns will be allowed at Broadway
Work Hours:
- Weekdays 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Saturday 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Loud impact work under a noise variance, including concrete breaking, may begin at 8:00 a.m.
- Sunday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Jackson Segment – Construction Detail
Water Main, Storm Drain, and Electrical Duct Bank Installation
Weekday Work:
- Electrical duct bank installation between 1st and 2nd
- Water main installation between 8th and 10th
Weekend Work:
- Storm drain installation between 7th and 8th
Work Hours:
- Weekdays 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Weekend 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Note Regarding Water Main Installation:
Beginning in early October there will be water service interruptions as new connections are made along Jackson. If your building will be affected you will receive notice of a water shutdown directly from Seattle Public Utilities at least 72 hours in advance.
